Business Installation

Installation of the Mobile Universe high speed satellite internet system is a worry-free process for our customers. Our installers have performed thousands of quality VSAT installations.

After you place your order, one of our installation coordinators will contact you to arrange the details of your install. The installation coordinator will be your dedicated point of contact until your equipment is installed, commissioned and tested. A Standard Professional Installation takes 3-6 hours. When the installer has physically finished his work he will test the system and verify connectivity.

A Standard Professional Installation includes: • Standard non-penetrating flat-roof mount or wall mount. • Up to 250 ft of IFL coax cables between the antenna RF equipment and the Broadband Router to be located inside the building • Ground wire and grounding block. • A maximum of one interior wall penetration, connectors and faceplate. • The installer will verify the satellite link is active. Standard Commercial Installation does not include complex/custom installations that may result in additional fees. Please be sure you discuss any custom work with your installation coordinator before they begin the job. Custom work may include but is not limited to, multiple interior wall penetrations, pole or chimney mounts, or difficulty in accessing the site.
Non-Penetrating Roof Mount The Flat roof mount is standard because it is the preferred method most of the time. This type of mount is called a Non-Penetrating roof mount, or non-pen mount. It provides a large rectangular base with an integrated vertical pedestal firmly attached. The satellite dish is attached to the top of the pedestal. The base is ballasted with concrete blocks for stability and safety.

Other Mount Options
As an option to the non-pen, we can provide either a wall or pole mount. A standard pole-mount will be located within 6 feet of the building (of the place where the cable building penetration is to be made) and includes six to eight feet of earth trenching as needed. Burying cable under concrete, asphalt or other surfaces is non-standard, pole mounts in excess of 6 feet are also non-standard and either or both require an additional quotation. If necessary, pole mounts can be located up to 150 feet from the building.
